As the TIC industry matures to become one of the professions talked about along those of doctors and lawyers, this website aims to increase the understanding of the evolving industry and bring more experts together.

TRUST

Any activity that leads to establishing trust can be clubbed under the TIC industry. While some activities have been not-for-profit efforts by experts in the past; the same may not be completely true now. As commercialisation has been increasing, little is left from the pieces of the TIC industry which is untouched by profit-based entities.

EMERGING
INDUSTRY

The current times are seeing the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) industry becoming more organised. The industry which is still comes across as largely unorganized displays great profit margins in some spaces and has been catching the eye of the financial industry.

Standards and evaluation

Standards defining performance or behaviour provide the much-needed quantification to help put a “value” to what we have considered worthy of buying or selling. The General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) in 1947 created the real need to grow the boundaries of standards in a more structured way.

Innovation

The TIC industry is now the cornerstone of innovation and helps drive the progress of humanity. Because without creating boundaries (defined in standards); there is no way that humanity will strive to go beyond boundaries. Though the industry has been becoming more commercial itself, it is the only industry which is capable of keeping a check on commercialisation as well!

He has over forty-five years’ experience in the construction industry, including supervision of quality control programs, preparation of test standards, and more.

Brett Gagnon is currently one of the subject matter experts for electrical equipment and electrical medical devices at Merck KGaA Darmstadt Germany, otherwise known as Millipore Sigma within North America. He has an Electrical Engineering degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology and a Masters of Business from Southern New Hampshire University.

She has been dealing with fire doors certification all over the world, helping companies in the design of fire doors for obtaining any International Certification, which allows them to be more competitive and position themselves in the highest segment of the market.
